Cruise vessels dock at berth no. 129/131 – larger vessels dock at the Eastern Harbour, where the water depth is 13.5 m.
On arrival the passengers are welcomed by e.g. young musicians from Den Jyske Pigegarde or the Aarhus Pigegarde. Occasionally folk dancers wearing historical national costumes will perform traditional Danish folk dances. A society of local artists is selling Danish handycraft.

During the stay Guide Service - Service & Co. will arrange one-day trips for the cruise passengers with guides proficient in foreign languages. Trip destinations could be: LEGOLAND, The House of H.C. Andersen, The Frigate Jutland, Clausholm Castle or The Old Town. If the cruise guests prefer going ashore on their own the city offers a wide variety of shopping possibilities. A walk of the city - with or without a guide - could also be recommended.
