New Port Director

49-year-old Thomas Haber Borch has been appointed new Port Director of Port of Aarhus. Thomas Haber Borch was selected for the position among more than 80 candidates and he will henceforth be at the forefront of Denmark´s largest commercial port.  Thomas Haber Borch commences no later than July 1, 2020.

With both operational and managerial experience, Thomas Haber Borch has served as the CEO of DKI Logistics A/S and Vikar DK A/S since 2015 and, for a while he was co-owner of both companies.
In addition to having overseen operations, growth and development of both the temp agency and the logistics company, Thomas Haber Borch also had close customer relations, for example to the Central Denmark Region which is one of the largest accounts of the logistics company.

From 2008 to 2015, Thomas Haber Borch worked respectively as a PostNord regional manager, regional director, as well as for companies such as Berendsen and Michelin.  

Originally, our future Port Director trained as an Electronics Engineer and later supplemented this with a Market Economist degree in International Marketing and a diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management. In addition, he has an MBA and a board education.

Thomas Haber Borch lives in Højbjerg just outside Aarhus with his spouse and their three children.

Until the new port director commences, Assistant Director Henrik Munch Jensen has been appointed temporary port director.
