Angling from the piers


Angling from the piers at the port of Aarhus is limited to certain areas for safety reasons. The Port of Aarhus has with effect as from 1st. July 2004 fully implemented the ISPS Code at its harbour facilities and as a consequense of that, specific areas of the harbour are now closed to the public.

 

Anglers must respect all signposts and comply with instuctions from the Port of Aarhus Authority. Please also be aware of the rules from the public authorities regarding the protection of the stream - Aarhus Å, which  means that angling is not permitted within an area of 500 m from the outlet. Violation of the rule may impose a fine. 

 

It is no longer possible to use the area around Pier 2 and Pier 4 (pls. note that it is now a building site) 

Angling is permitted from from the Eastern mole in the southern part of the harbour.
